where in da hell should lay this map like where so it cant work
ive got a problem with this. The actual game works but i cant find my exe file. witch means that the searchpath doesnt exist so i cant use the mod... plz help

It is not an update. You need to remove any preceding version.
if i click the shortcut the normal game starts
you should definetly add lord barst
If you get the normal game when clicking in the provided shortcut, it means that the mod path is incorrect.
Follow these instructions:
-Right Click on the Shortcut
-Select Properties
-In the target field remove everything
-In the Target field add your BFME2-ROTWK .exe address (like for a normal shortcut)
-still in the target field add "-mod" (without the "") and then between "" add the mod main folder's address (the main folder is named "battleforalagaesia")

At first i managed to install the game, now i had to re-install it because tried another mod and i've tried DOZENS of times. with no results
I write in Target field:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\The Lord of the Rings, The Rise of the Witch-king\lotrbfme2ep1.exe" -mod "C:\battleforalagaesia"
I've tried different combination, with or without "C:\" before the name of the folder, with or withot spaces before or after "mod", i'm wasting HOURS behind this!!!

I am trying to install this mod as I am having withdrawals after finishing the last book. However I cannot seem to get anything to line up. I am using Windows 7 could I have an idiots guide to installing this, for the paths and what not. Sorry.
What exaclty is your installation problem?
I install using the download but after that I am not sure how to get the mod to run, I don't use the provided shotcut path so I am wondering how to get it to go.
And I saw the comments above and the readme file but that didn't seem to help

i dont know exactly why but it didnt work for me so for some reason (which i dont remember why) i installed the mod to just "C:/" and voila it worked:D
I cant for the life of me get your mod to work. I've re-installed ROTWK to the default directory even. I've changed the target path, which I've done with other mods that worked fine. Any ideas? I'm dying to try your mod.

And ive installed a german version of ROTWK, will there be any problems?

i have another question, i downloaded the mod last year or so, and after circa every 15 min, the game crashes, i also read this in "beta bugs and suggestions", but that was, but it was written many times ago, so is this bug fixed and i have to download it again or does now there is the same problem (sry for bad english)

i hope, that in the fullversion the dragons will be like the dragons of the edain mod, but with much more powers and they can grow up and get armor and so on. but i think that it would be better if you can only amount/dismount the rider when the dragon is on the ground, and if it works, you could also add, that the riders jump from the dragons knee and not just go into the dragon. Also i hope that the rider can make spells from the dragons back and that the head of the dragon look like the cover of the books.When the riders amount, they wearing again the armor of level 1.
I hope that the varden, elves and empire gets two dragon riders, the varden eragon and maybe brom or another, the elves oromis and arya, the empire murtagh and galbatorix. Because you there are arya and galbatorix, which are not included in the mod as riders. But the idea of the dragonriders and the rest of the mod are very good! Keep up the good work

this mod needs a special version of the original rotwk game?
