Adding other files
To add other files, like maps or music, just put them in the appropriate folder. So, for example, music tracks go in 'x\data\audio\tracks\'

Using worldbuilder
Sometimes you have to use new objects in worldbuilder, but worldbuilder does not understand the -mod command. To solve this, make a file 'data\ini\zworldbuilder\wb.ini' (in the game dir! not your mod dir). Here you can put your objects, like:

Code
Object GondorBatteringRam
Side = Men
EditorSorting = Unit
End

Now launch WB, and you can put a Gondor battering ram in your map or scripts.
Note that the objects only appear as black dots. To make the models appear is outside the scope of this tutorial, but feel free to ask in the forums.

When playing the game, rename 'wb.ini' to 'wb.nini'. When using WB again, name it back.

I'm having trouble with the preconverted INIs! I downloaded them but can't extract them I keep getting errors. What should I do??

--------

Alright now I got the INI files open through WinRAR, but I can't create a shortcut. I would really appreciate some help, either here or in my topic...

You wont need a licence for WinRAR, after the trial you'll get a message asking you to buy it, but it still works as normal.

Will FinalBIG editor work because I downloaded it but can't open, or is there another way besides Winrar?? What if I simply copy my ROTWK ini?? Or is Winrar the only way, and will you have to get a license to use it??

The .rar file you mean? Winrar is the program you should use for that.

when downloading the INI what program should i use to open it. it seems to come out as different shapes/letters/numbers

Do you edit the new ini "configuration settings" files that you get in the mod folder, or edit the regular .ini? The new files you get in the folder are hard to read...

Well... when i get to step 3 i get a game.dat, but it doesnt display a reason, it just crashes.
