I have noticed that many modelers on T3A struggle with the forged blades and fire arrow settings. I had this problem too a while ago and I was disappointed that there was never anything that explained how to do it properly. In this tutorial, I will show some of the errors caused by improper settings and give a step by step process on how to set it up properly.

NOTE: You must have Renx properly installed and know how to use it in order to benefit and understand this tutorial. Please refer to other articles for explantions on these things.

Errors Caused By Improper Settings

One of the most common errors you see with forged blades is it being way too big and bright, as seen in the image below :)

Another problem is that they sometimes will suddenly disappear when they are in fron of an object, as seen here.

So now let's fix all those problems and make them work properly!

Well my video sucks, so keep that, or rewrite it using the EA method, it's as you want :)

so it does... so it does... if you want, I can just delete everything on page 2 and add your video instead ;)

No, I tired the method used by EA and it doesn't turn out right at all. I find my method to work the best.

Nah, it works perfectly ;)
I'll write a little thing to explain you, and you'll be able to edit this tuto (if you want :p).

Here we go, you can see eeverything here (test yourself and you'll see)

Very nice :) Will be very useful atleast for me :P The reason none of the models in my have forged blades yet is that Im way too lazy to search for that kind of info but still its very important thing so now, I will add FB to all the models I make :)

No need to rescale it ;)
There is another way (that one used by EA) I'll explain it later, and see if it's possible under RenX.
