RJ-RotWK brings the best from each title in the BFME series by EA. As a mod for Rise of the Witch-King, at it's heart it brings 3 new factions to the game. Men of the West has been broken into Gondor and Rohan, with new heroes, units, powers, and more. Arnor has also been fleshed out to be a unique faction with a mix of Men and Elves and more. Men of the East and Mordor has also been split, with Men of the East made up from two smaller sub-factions of Rhun and Harad. The Elves are now made up from three smaller sub-factions of Rivendell, Lothlorien, and Mirkwood. In total, over 70+ new units/heroes/structures and more have been added. Over 20 new maps are included, and much more.
Description
Welcome to RJ-RotWK 1.06! The installation should be easy and painless if you follow the below instructions. 1) Open the RJ_RotWK.rar file 2) Extract the contents of the file to your c:\ drive. (If you are using winRar, just drag the RJ_RotWK folder to you c:\ drive) 3) In the contents of your C:\ drive directory you will see a RJ_RotWK shortcut, or you can also find it in the .rar file. Move that wherever you would like to store it 4) Double-click the shortcut and the mod will run

Now ive just put the file in C drive and linked it up with my shortcut and it just loads my folder. i hate these thing it does my head in

You do not link the shortcut to the folder! you leave the shortcut exactly how it was, that is unless you installed the game on a different hardrive (such as D:or E:)

i can't find any fix for 2.01 version so this mod is dead for my :(sorry...
I FIXED IT!!!! just re-install the game to the DEFAULT path and then just folow the instructions...
im not sure but am i supposed 2 download to my downloads or direct to program files? cuz in my downloads it is a internet link that goes to a page that dusnt exist.
I doesnt work, if I place a shortcut of the shortcut in my C: drive then it says when I open it that there is no path or sth like that. I fail :/, help?

I have recently downloaded your mod.Before downloading it,its features attracted me.Though I followed every step you wrote,I still can't get in with the mod.First it pops up a launcher of RoTWK and then it pops another same one and I enter the old RoTWK.Please any help is appreciated

We now await eagerly for the finnished (or semi-finnished) product. Mod of the year when done? Your faithfulness to the LOTR authenticity would make Tolkien smile (or smirk). Whenever i download this mod it is not into a folder, i have tried like 2 times now and still hasn't worked, and i don't know where to put it. I'm using windows vista on some sort of laptop that runs the game smoothly at low quality graphics.

ok, here is really my problem, every time i download it it gives me 2 items and they don't come in a folder, ones a RAR file and the other is a PART file. I don't know how to get them to do anything, i've tried creating shortcuts and ridirecting the paths but nothing works.

when it started working, well, i though it would crash or show an error but it didnt (2 mods i tried did it and sometimes ppl get a bit annoyed)
well, I started a skirmist and i got surprised when I saw arnor. i decided to try that one out. In the game I was surprised and really interested in discovering what was new and, well, the mod is awsome :) best mod I ever played. The only thing i though strange and I did laugh a bit was when I saw the hero of arnor with clothes because i though he had armor on. but the mod is brutal! from 1 to 20 i give it 20 ;)

one of my m8s did an ithelin ranger spam and even an elven sunflare didnt even kill the rangers in fact all it did was kill the baner cariers also knites of dol amroth are just a bit tooo strong I literaly had sauron and he died to them tower guards are extremely strong too the heroes also for all the factions the seige wepons are just abit tooo strong
also found a bug in war of ring mode where isengard cant get wulf or ugluk and for gondor whne playing war of ring mode you can buy damrod but not in scirmish ( i am telling allot of bad news :( )
in war of ring mode you cant get the 2 new custom hero style dwarves and one of the arcehrs heros but you can in skirmish
btw love the mounted gothmog very nice adition
also i find that the mote hero lorgan is just abit too weak he acatually loses to wites 1vs1
also the rock golum sumon form one of the blue wizards suffers knockback from balrog and shade of wolf

when archers fire they can be really inacurate at times

i also found this weird bug for warg riders in war of ring mode
aparntly when u give a warg rider banners
and keepthe wargriders still they start spawning individual warg riders
also the angmar witch king suffers knock back idk if u intended it tho
rohan baner carier u[grade doesnt work properly u can buy u[grade form your forge butyou cant equip to troops rogashes heal rate is almost nonexistant
also the arnor hero whos lvl 10 power does a liting sword after his liting sword is done atcking the ehro just sits there and has elctricity by his feet and u still here liting sword sound until u tell him to move
also the arrow voley even star spell is dangerouslypowerful it 1 hit killed a fully upgraded isen urakpikexbow combo
thats all the bugs i can remmeber and think of rite now

Is there any way that you can post in a zip folder or something, because rar doesn't work for me, it comes up with a rar file with 0 bytes and a PART file with 278 megabytes or something like that, and i can't open the file either way, it has no application to be opened with, help, please.

Hey I downloaded this mod the other night and used win rar. to extract it. Its on my C drive now with a shortcut. However, whenever i double click on it, it just comes up with regular ROTWK. Does anybody know how to amend this? Pleas Help if you do!!!! I'm not sure if it makes a difference but I am running Vista 32 bit. HELP!!!

I hope you can do that to other units too (goblins,Uruks,Angmar and it would be cool if for example gondor soldiers would look different too)
i love the "new war of the ring" i hope you soon can manage that there are no "placeholder" ("near Harad") anymore.
If you play MotE in War of the Ring there is an problem!
you have to select your race (Rhun or Harad) at the beginning of the round in your fortress. but in War of the rings you don´t have a fortress on each map, so you have to pay the double to all Units and buildings!
hopefully 1.07 is coming soon and i hope it minds some of my notes
