W3D importer that is needed to import and extract w3d models in to renx.

This will allow you to open the w3d models in renx. Export them so you can view them in w3d viewer. To install you need to place the w3dimporter.ms in to:
C:\gmax\gamepacks\Westwood\RenX\scripts\startup\

I have written a tutorial on how to install and set this up Here

Use winrar to unpack the .rar archive that contains the W3D Importer

My only problem with this importer is that it takes more time to import a model, it makes a new scene when I don't want it to sometimes, and that I cant delete everything but the model, it gets unbined...

Is there a more detailed tutorial for importing and editing units with RenX? I got as far as importing Aragorn, then the options available to me were different than those in the screen shots. I didn't have all of the choices that were showing. New to RenX and Gmax. Not new to modding.

neonrocks, The w3dimporter.rar needs to be extracted. You must have winrar to do so... It is free to download just google search it. Once extracted you will see the w3dimporter.ms then you place that in the folder that i tell you to in the w3d importer tutorial.
