Creating a map.str file.

Creating a map.str file is very easy, it is created in Notepad, as are all of the work done in it. To create a new map.str file:
1) Open Notepad
2) Click file, Save As
3) In the Save As type box, select All Files
4) In the file name box type map.str
Close the Notepad document and go to the location where you saved it. (i.e. 'My Documents') Open it up and it will say:

Windows cannot open the file: map.str

Select a program from the list or do you want windows to search the web for a suitable program?
(Something like that, anyway)

Select, choose a program from the list and choose 'Notepad.'

Windows will now recongnise to open all map.str files with Notepad, you will only have to do this once.
Now that you have created your map.str file, cut-paste it into the map folder that you want it to belong to, along with the maps .map and .tga file.

If you can't find it, follow this:
1) Open Run
2) Type %appdata% and hit enter
3) Look for a folder named My Battle for Middle-Earth files
4) Open it and look for a folder in there called Maps
5) In that folder will be what you are looking for. (NOTE: YOU WILL HAVE TO HAVE MADE YOUR MAP FOR IT TO BE HERE, IF YOU HAVE NOT, CREATE IT NOW.)

IMPORTANT NOTE!: DO NOT HAVE YOUR MAP OPEN IN WORLDBUILDER WHILST DOING ANY WORK WITH MAP.STR, IT WILL NOT WORK!

For a better format, try adding

Code
test
code tags to the scripts and map.str text parts. Other than that, good tutorial.
