This is how to add a SUB-OBJECT to a main model , without having to rebind the Main model.
A sub-object can be a shield , a helmet , even a fire effect , such as a transforming a club into a torch
In this tutorial , I am adding a SHIELD to an uruk warrior Infantry unit

First identify the Shield you want to add ingame , and the unit you want to add it to

In this instance it is using a Create-a-hero shield .

Open the shield in Renx/Gmax

To get the shield , you may have to import into Renx the entire model of the Create-a-hero uruk , and delete all other models except the shield

Delete all other models and have your sub-object
If you have the sub-object from another source this is fine
The only model you need is the sub-object
