Here are a bunch of free use Southern Fiefdoms models and skins. More may be forthcoming in the future. They all contain Heavy Armour and Forged Blade textures/objects for those that wish to use them, except the Knights. They should be compatible with all versions of Battle for Middle Earth, though there may be some bounding box problems with BFME2. Do note that the rigging is not exceptional. Prince Imrahil
Prince Imrahil on Foot
Knight of Dol Amroth
Knight of Dol Amroth on Foot
Spearman of Pelargir
Footman of Ringlo Vale
Bowman of Morthond
Note that the Bowmen have all the necessary rigging to use swords in melee combat, like the Rangers in stock BFME. Axeman of Lossnarch
Banners
These banner carriers are the same as their faction, save the addition of a banner and cape. There are some annoying rigging problems with the gubanner skeleton, however, so they aren't great Credit is required. These models must be used in their original condition. If you wish to modify or edit them in any way, you must contact me first. Do not bother me with questions on how to get them ingame, as I don't know how. I'm just a lowly artist. Also let me know if you have any cool shots of the models ingame, as some I haven't seen yet. There is now a tutorial based on putting these models ingame, thanks to Robnkarla. I recommend you look at it HERE. Links / Downloads

And it worked, but how come Mothond Bowman's arrows ar purple? rtully94 - Sunday September 14, 2008 - 17:44 Has anyone modded all of these in? If so, can you post the .big? King Spudzy - Thursday July 31, 2008 - 6:31 These all look excellent, but can I ask why the knights of dol amroth have different shields to the knights on foot? Tar-Palantir - Saturday April 26, 2008 - 8:38 Holly... theese are real good, I'm gonna code'em into my personal mods. Nertea (Team Chamber Member) - Sunday April 20, 2008 - 1:00 Yeah, the pelargir spearman is a total rip from the Armoured Sergeant in M2TW. The idea for the horse barding too, as i recall... good spot. Yarrum - Sunday April 13, 2008 - 9:41 These are amazing. However, they do seem rather similar to the units in Medieval 2 Total War... Frodo - Monday November 12, 2007 - 10:22 Very good!!! I think I'm going to use the Knights of Dol Amroth and the Spearman of Pelargir and all banners for my mod. Of course with credits ;). Elrond99 - Wednesday October 17, 2007 - 8:08 I think I´ll use the Knights of Dol Amroth for my Mod xmttn - Friday September 7, 2007 - 9:50 Good models Nertea Some of them are going to be used in my mod! JaYk - Wednesday August 1, 2007 - 12:56 These are amazing. Such a great job, well done! |
