The pitch dictates what the camera angle will be. Here is a small chart on some of the different pitch amounts:

Code

1.01 to infinite : gives you a more top-down view
1.00 : the standard BFME camera angle
0.99 to 0.00 : The lower the value, the more parallel the camera is to the ground.
-0.01 to infinite : the camera view is looking up from the ground

Feel free to change the numbers in the scripts to whatever you wish.

Also, the camera zoom setting is optional. You can remove them if you do not like it.

10. Finally, close the scripts menu and select Edit\Edit Map Settings. Here, you can adjust the camera's minimum and maximum height. Each map will have different settings according to the terrain so I can't give specific values. If you find that your camera doesn't go low or high enough, adjust the Min and Max Height values.

That does it for this tutorial. You should now have a camera system set up for the map. If you wish to add the camera system to another map, copy and paste the scripts into it. If you want to know how to add skyboxes to a map, check out another tutorial here. Happy sightseeing! :)

I have done this all stuff. Camera mods working. But i have a question. How can I setup hotkeys for different camera mods? Thanx!

Does this work for the first one because I tried it and it always shows a gamecrash because of the "Behavior" at start up in the system.ini. This would have looked amazing in my mod but all in all, great tutuorial.

This is great! I hope it works for all of the games, 'cause I'm making a few personal mod (and one public) that could use something like this.

Since the time I wanted to figure out how to make it! This is amazing, the camera system is one of the best thing that can be added via modding!

This is a amazing job Rob ;)
