So, first things first I say. To start any mod you have to download FinalBigEditor, link should be in the bottom of this page. Once you download it unzip it, you should have a folder with the app in it. When you start the program, click on the open icon and go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\The Lord of the Rings, The Rise of the Witch-king or wherever you have installed your game. Open the file named INI.big, now there will be a list with a lot of code files; now go to Edit>Extract All, it will ask you for a folder in which it will store all the files; any directory will do just fine.

After the extracting is over (may take a little while), you'll see that the directory that you chose has a new folder in it simply called "data" (without the ""). Now, at this point, you can move the folder (the directory you originally chose in FinalBig) and reference it to start your mod! If you want to do this, copy the direct access of your game and right click it, select properties and, in the part that says "Path" add the following:

-mod "Path of the data folder"

In the end, it should look like this:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\The Lord of the Rings, The Rise of the Witch-king\lotrbfme2ep1.exe" -mod "C:\Users\YourUserName\Documents\MyMod"

In this case, "MyMod" is where I have my data folder. Remember, this change is being done to the copy of your game's link. When you're done, click OK and that's it, every time you double click that icon, your mod will start.

There's another file that we will use, and that is "lotr.str". To find this file we will use again FinalBig and select the file English.big that is inside the lang folder within the game's directory. You'll find lotr.str there, just extract that one and move it to the MyMod folder (or whatever your folder is named)

Now MyMod folder should have only 2 things:
-data/
-lotr.str

And that's all we are going to do with FinalBig

Hello! I'm trying to do the but in the bfme I. Is there any different steps? I created a folder with my own mod... I then just edit the values that I want and I save them... I have also added the -mod in the end of the "Path" as well as done the lotr.srt extraction. Could anyone help? Thanks =D
